We invited a few guests to a sushi place last night and, since I'm pregnant, all I had was miso soup and beef, chicken, and shrimp noodles. I had regular cake with boston cream after that. Later that night I had sharp stomach pains that come and go quite often, like being stabbed. I woke up feeling better this morning but I still don't feel normal. Could I have eaten something that had raw eggs? I heard sometimes they add raw eggs to the noodles. Or maybe the cake was under-baked? Should I be worried or should I just wait a few more hours to be back to normal?

you know i have had the same problem of sharp pains in my lower abdomen.. the hospital thought it was a uti than later found out that i tore something down there and now it hurts everyday. they call it normal pregnancy pains. i will have to check back and see what other people have to say about this.
oh just thought i would clarify that i am 24-26 weeks pregnant
Hun, it's better to be safe than sorry. Go get checked out. When it comes to a baby, waiting isn't something you should do. If your doctor isn't concerned, then I would say yeah don't worry so much. But I'd still remain on the safe side and get checked.
You take care of yourself and that baby! *hugs*
I'll say a little prayer for you and the baby.

well, I called the doctor and she told me to stop being a big baby :) Poor thing I call her every time I sneeze... I think she'll eventually change her phone number because of me. Anyway my stomach's back to normal today thank God. Thanks for your prayers Lisa, and while you're at it can you pray for my husband to come home one day with a gift voucher for a day at the spa? that would be sweeeeeeeeeeet
