Hi!  Have u tried asking ur doctor to check the level of uric acid.  I'm not sure if ur doctor had given u a medication that will slow the progress of ur uric acid.  Drink a lot of water everyday and take "glucosamine"...it will definitely help ur joint from arthritis and it's safe for ur body as well.  But ask ur doctor first if it's safe for u to take this...I'm not sure if u ahve any underlying condition.

Hello.  I am taking Glucosamin Chondritin and Boseweilla/Safflower complex.  I have multi-level DJD in my spine.  My knee is messed up from a bicycle accident in the 70's.  I used to play golf, tennis, basketball, softball, power walk, football with my brothers, sons, kids all up until 2004.. then it all hit me.  Thank you for the suggestion.  I will mention it at my next physical in July.

Knowing as little about your arthritis as I do an initial response may well be out in left field, but it's still in the ballpark so I thought I'd share.  I am a firm believer in that a well fed body doesn't make mistakes.  A level approach at obtaining the necessary levels of Uric acid, Glucosamine, Chondroitin and ingestion of Vitamins A, C and D should give a synergistic approach to your body's needs.  I eat a whole food 'supplement' every day that I firmly believe to be the most nutrient dense food in the world.  If you want to know more ask you can EMail me @ Powerhousevi@yahoo.com.

Okthen, I am ready to take off.  I had an epidural steriod injection last week, and I hope it lasts!  The facet injections did not help much.  Still rehabbing from my knee surgery in January too.  I think I am ready to roll~

I have something else to be concerned with I think... when I had the spinal injection I was told that my O2 saturation was 70%.  Maybe that is why I have headaches and feel tired and wake up at night? I do have adult onset asthma( dx'd in 2006) and use an HFA Advair inhaler.
