As a mother of a son with autism, I wish that when the grandmother asked at the end of today's show about her 5 year old grandson not speaking much....that the importance of a full developmental evaluation had been mentioned. Or at least a quick question to see if he is socializing with others, responding when called, exhibiting pretend play, etc... The huge limit of language felt like a red flag to me. I do...
