whenever i call my doctor's office, for some reason their not to friendly to me. I called and tell them I want to make an appointment to see my doctor and she said in a bad attitude you already have a appointment set up and i said I didn't make an appointment and she said your doctor did and i said he didn't tell me that and she said well you have a appointment. not all receptionist is like that but when i go into the doctor's office, they already know me so i don't have a problem but when i'm on the phone and talking to them, their always unfriendly.

Juli- Let your Dr. know about her/his staff the next time that you have an appointment! S/he may refer you to her/his office manager, but at least you will be able to start to make them aware of the rude way in which the staff is speaking to patients on the phone. You might also want to write a letter to the office manager (and make a copy for yourself before you send it); it's harder for them to "ignore" problems when they have something in writing, right in front of them!
