Keeping me honest

c1d10! Down 5.8 lbs, I have not had this kind of success in years with a plan and this is the longest (over the past two years) that i have stuck to a plan as well as I have stuck to this one! Yea!  I'm not saying that I don't get hungry (for the first time in a long time I actually feel REAL hunger) but I do deal with the hunger much better.

I have found that if I get tired I make poor choices, I'm trying to keep aware of that so I don't mess up the plan this time!  Shoot forgot to take out those turkey burgers to defrost that I was going to fix tonight.  I will have to remember to take them out when I get home.  I have found that I can put single servings, be it fish, chicken, whatever in a zip lock bag and put in cool water and it will defrost safely and quickly.

Good Day,

Kitty

Congratulations on the weight loss!  Because lean protein is unlimited, you dont need to measure out portion sizes if you dont want to.

I'm actually feeling hunger again, too! It's good to know we have unlimited portions of proteins/cleansing veggies to grab. When I'm feeling hunger and need to satisfy it, I'm grabbing one of those options rather than a cookie or trail mix like I used to. It's good to be eating healthy and even after just 4 days I'm liking the way that feels. I'm sure my body is liking it a lot better as well.

Have you ever tried defrosting your meat in the microwave? I've used that option when I forget to take something out in time to defrost in the refrigerator. My micro has an auto-defrost setting that allows you to enter the weight of the meat so it doesn't start cooking it during the cycle. In a pinch, it does the trick!

Have a great day, Kitty. -- Mtnrose

melissaw72 thank you for the reminder about the protein!  I keep forgetting that point!

mtnrose I don't have much luck defrosting in the microwave.. but I only have to do personal sized portions 1 or 2 most of the time so the ziploc and h2o work pretty good.  Maybe i should play with my microwave more!
