Is there a list  of the vitamins and supplements that the lady on the show was taking and what each of them is for?  The one day I wasn't paying attention to the TV show, I only catch the end of that segment!

You take care too!  I hope you get them all fixed, I really understand how difficult it is, a lot more than people think.

It was very insightful of you to pick up on the fact that it is very difficult to eat.  More and more, over the summer I found myself unwilling and unable to go out to eat with anyone.  This caused extreme problems over the summer since I was also dealing with fibromyalgia and depression and a lot of other ugly family stuff.  Keep in touch.

Alot of us here have severe dental problems, there are 3or4 of us I know of most 3 of 4 are around 30 years old who are losing all of teeth and understand.  One had chemo, and lost them all and needed dentures, one has unknown dental problems and is trying to find a way to get some help coming up with the $2500 needed to have all of her teeth pulled and dentures made.  I have Lupus, so I am losing all of my teeth.  I've spent at least $15,000 in the last 3 years on my teeth and I still need to come up with $7,000 more and thats not cosmetic, root canls, crowns, bridges, etc.  I see the dentist regularly, but can't seem to be able to afford to get in front of the problem.  I'm glad that your cancer was found and treated, but I'm sorry for your tooth loss, it's a really difficult problem to have, a lot of people don't understand that sometimes it's not poor hygene, but for health reasons.  Not to mention the pain of tooth problems and the discomfort of eating.  I wish ou well and would love to talk if you need someone who understands.  Michele

In October 2000, as a surprising 50th  birthday presentation,  I was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal carcinoma.  Incredibly it was found by my ENT when I went in for an ear infection.  When he put in the ear tube, he also excised the suspicious spot and sent it in for testing.  I went through chemo and radiation.  These procedures might have saved my life but they almost killed me.  The radiation has had more enduring effects.  My jaw bone and my teeth have suffered the most.  Presently I am going through hyperbaric treatment before my oral surgeon even atempts to remove the moral that has a humongous cavity.  And, trust me, this is not for lack of going to the dentist.  This huge cavity appeared and grew very quickly.  As changes occur, I will update this page.
