Yes, I am still getting the same painful headaches! Infact they have been so bad that my husband wanted to take me to the hospital. I went to the Ophthalmologist and I was told he didn't see anything in my eyes except I need glasses to read. I don't do alot of reading but I am going to get them. He is concerned about the eye droop so I am scheduled to see a Neuro-Ophthalmologist. I do see my Neurologist in a couple weeks so I will be explaining all this to him and how the medications are not working and I think some more tests need to be done. But now I have another concern....My Son! My son went for a CT scan and they saw something so he went for an MRI. Saw his Neurologist yesterday and he has something...she thinks is a cyst on the back of his brain, on the same side of his headaches. He will see her again in 2 months and will be having another MRI in about a year or less depending on the headaches. He is going back to school and he has troubles with memory and comprehension so this is why she wants to see him in 2 months to see hows he's doing. He also has troubles sleeping. He takes medication to help with that. I know I have painful headaches and I want so much to find out why, what they are from and I want them to go away or even be not as often but now my main worries is my son. He's only 18 and he has been dealing with these damn headaches for 2 years. I took he to my neurologist and he was on medication but no tests were done. He was also affraid of the MRI. I took him to another neurologist and he felt comfortable with her and did the tests. I think it's time for ME to find another neurologist if nothing else is done besides more PILLS when I see him. I need to be there for my son...not always be suffering with a headache.
