Went to the DR Thursday and come to find out i have surgery on March 24 ... I lost my right ovary to a very large cyst in it. This time the cyst is hanging outside on the ovary (left one), causing lots of pain and pressure, even through to my back. My belly is swollen also. I had gone off the 17DD for a bit which turned out to be a mistake. Actually probably was from lack of exercise also. Gained 7 pounds in past 2 weeks, but havent overeaten except for 2 days I know of. I think the gain and hard to lose is because apparently this type of thing prevents it from happening somehow. I read about it. I'm not incapacitated just in a lot of pain. This time it will be laparoscopic and I'll be in and out in one day.
Melissa.

I have been there before. I've had ten surgeries for the same reason as you but now I no longer have any of that. I've had a full Historectomy and I'm only 31. The only thing I can say is hang in there and be strong cause it's hard. Ask your doctor about scar tissue, adhesions and endometriosis. That is now my problem and they hurt just as much as the cysts do. My last surgery was three weeks ago today. Good luck sweetie and I hope you heal fast.
Thank you Lorie and smyers.... I'm not expecting any complications with this, so am not too worried. I just need the date here to get rid of the pain/pressure!
