I have frozen blueberries in a smoothie every morning since starting the 17 Day Diet. I feel like it's helping, along with my whey protein powder (http://wheyoflife.org/) and of course, watching my calorie intake. I know you don't have to count calories, but I'm kind of old school about weight loss...calories in, calories out!
If you check out that website, go to the Health Benefits drop down list to see all the benefits, including weight loss! It's great for everyone, including vegetarians...but NOT Vegans, because whey comes from cows.
Is the whey protein powder flavored, ie vanilla or chocolate?

Yes, I have chocolate and a vanilla container in my pantry right now. I've also seen a non-flavored one. It said that it was for recipes. The brand I get is called MRM. It's available in my local Ralphs grocery store (Krogers on the east coast). But I've seen whey protein powder in all vitamin and health food stores.
