I recently had an endoscopy done with some biopsies of my stomach. The biopsies came back, comfirming that I have gastritis. I am losing a little blood in my stomach, which is most likely the reason for the chronic iron deficiency. On Lansoprazole and prescription iron pills for all of that.
I am very careful with taking OTC pain killers. DR said I could continue the ibuprofen though, just not a lot.
Are there any foods that could possibly be a part of the problem? I am on a lot of prescription medication which could factor in with it all, but I don't think it is completely responsible for the gastritis.
