MeMollynana,

Has your doctor swabbed the infection and cultured it?  MRSA usually forms on warm moist areas like under your arms, or in the groin area.  It seems strange it would be mostly on your hands or feet.  It is possible, but it is out of the norm.  The blisters need to be swabbed as a lot of strains of MRSA are resistant to somme antibiotics, if the MRSA is not cultured then the Doctor would not know which anti biotics would work, and which wouldn't.  MRSA left untreated causes toxins that can cause organ failure, so it is very important to have a culture done, and get the correct antibiotic for the problem.  I hope this has been helpful.
