This is so random but after searching for information on line tonight, I came across this web site and hope someone can offer some advice.
I am a 39 yr old married female with (4) children. My health has been declining for quite some time but unable to figure out why. About 8 yrs ago, I had the most bizarre "infection?" happen. It emerged as small pus (yellowish/greenish) filled blisters that were very sensitive and painful and very ugly. They presented mostly on the palms of my hands and the bottom of both feet and also on the inside step of my foot. Very weird but not one of the 12 doctors I saw could diagnose it. They each prescribe random antibotics which did no good but eventually, after 2-3 months, they dissappeared.
Last month, it started again. Same fashion as before only much much worse and wasn't isolated to the same areas. Again, they are covering my palms (currently I have approx. 50 on one palm), feet, my chest area, my private area (outside), and me legs. This past summer, I had a wound on my leg that would not heal. After about a month, I went to a Quick Care type of medical facility and I discovered I had pretty severe infection which was treated with ?? (unsure but strong) antibotic. It never did heal and still is present.
I went to my Primary Care Dr.last week who I completely trust and he took a look at the areas and said he was fairly certain I had MRSA. He didn't seem concerned & game me rx for ?.. Well, the medication made me sicker than a dog and therefore I could not take it. The blisters are getting so much worse and for the past 2 days, my hips, back and legs are in so much pain it causes me to cry (I consider myself a pretty tough person who has a high pain tolerance).
Can you offer any insight about the MRSA/blisters and also tell me where you think this pain is coming from or what it can be attributed to.
I so appreciate any words you have and pray for a response.
Thanks again
Christine

Hi Christine,
I read some information about MRSA and this ointment called Bactroban would help with MRSA. Its component is Mupirocin (generic name) you might want to do a research about this further...I'm not sure how effective if you will apply it on your blisters, but I think it will prevent from spreading. You could ask about it from your PCP. I hope you feel better. Take care.
Sincerely,
Maureen
I know you've seen many docs, but this sounds like something you need to get diagnosed and don't stop till you do. I know people mean well, but guessing or trying to figure it out alone or treat it is not the road to take. Had we kept searching out what was wrong with my sister, she might not be dying now.
I agree with rainbowlasvegas. To properly treat it, you have to know what it is.
I would read on Colloidal Silver, take internally and also there is a Colloidal Silver Gel on the market to use topically. I bet it works.
