3rd Week:C2 Day 21 Third Weigh In!!

So today is the 4th day of being on cycle 2 and well the exclamation points say it all!!!!!!! Third weigh in this morning since starting the diet. I set a goal of beating what I called my semi-slump week at this point of the diet when I started last time, last year-back then I hit a low of 6lbs lost. This week I really wanted to get past 6lbs even if it was just 6.1lbs lost I would be happy. So I stepped on the scale this morining a little unsure of what it would say given I transitioned to cycle 2 in the middle of this week adding in those carbs-and wooooo hoooo I was down a whopping 7lbs!!!!!!!!! I felt like that was blowing my goal right out of the water! Its amazing what the loss of just 1 extra pound can do for your motivation. I will say after reading my dreadful entries last year about cycle 2-it has been much better this time then expected. My body was enjoying the slighltly raised carb intake, a nice baked potato with my lunch was a real treat. It didnt make me feel sluggish at all and was refreshing to go back and forth between cycle 1 and cycle 2 days, I truly felt like my body had no idea what was going on and I liked that! 10 more days of this and then its on to the highly dreaded cycle 3 (which I gained 3lbs in last year and couldnt wait to get back to Cycle 1) And heres to hoping that cycle 3 this time will be just like cycle 2 dreaded but turns out not so bad! In the meantime I think I will look back to my last years post to see what I had for loss this week coming and set a goal of beating that(this seems to work, beating my own goals) To date I am proudly down 27lbs, sounds like a lot and is a lot but I have a lot to lose so Im getting there! I love this way of eating, my body feels so much "cleaner" if you will and I hardly feel deprived (surprisingly).
