Day 2-First time for everything!

Tonight I made and ate turkey burgers for the first time! I cooked them up with fresh sliced mushrooms and onions, put a pinch of ff parm cheese on top with a little side of low carb ketchup for dipping and if I didnt know they were turkey burgers I would have never known! The thought was the hardest thing to get use to-I dont know why, but on top of that my 5yr old son had no idea that he had eaten a turkey burger!

Yesterday I actually had made a daily log on microsoft word yesterday which includes check off boxes for my a.m. hot water with lemon,  each meal with choice and snacks-which also includes 2 places to get my fruit in before 2pm, my 2 probiotic, my green teas with each meal and 8 boxes at the bottom to check off for my 8-8oz glasses of water. I printed of 17 of these for cycle 1 and stapled them together which I can see keeps me looking forward to the next day and before long looking for that last page! Im a list making kinda gal so I really like this-I feel like it keeps me on track to get to check of each thing on my log :-) Still happy to say I maintained a full feeling all day, It seems to be perfect timing as to when I start to feel a little bit of hunger approaching only to look and see its time for a snack! I havent felt starving at any point in the last two day but I can see my biggest fight is the craving to have dessert after supper!!-Although I will say I feel so healthy with the foods Ive eaten in just the last two days that I can honestly say having a yogurt for dessert would totally satisfy me! (maybe in a later cycle..speaking of which I think its time to read on-give me something more to look forward to!) Im still a little frazzled on the whole yogurt thing-I posted this question but no responses yet. I eat the yoplait light fat free yougurts-as a matter of fact I LOVE them, although noticing the sugar can be anywhere from 14g to 20g was a bit concerning. So I referred back to the book thinking I wouldnt have made such a crticial error having read the chapters on cycle 1 a couple times-and sure enough pg 45 says "Yogurt, any type, including..." and goes on to list several types of yogurt. I found a thread where one person said she eats both yoplait regular and light and she was doing great-where others said no, I just dont want to sabotage my diet right from the get go and really hope that I can get confirmation on this as I really love these yogurts! The different flavors are great, although if I have to find an alternative I should be ok-this morning I had just a vanilla one with a cup of fresh blueberries-insanely good!

Not to end the night on a bad note cause I feel so good and tired, but I didnt make it to my treadmill today as planned :-( Tomorrow Im going to make time for it instead of trying to find the time for it! Oh yeah and I decided prior to start this diet, to weigh myself weekly-I think daily is too often and Id rather see a few pounds off after a week rather then half a pound or less each day, I know in the end its a wash but I think weekly also gives me something to look forward to each week. My first weigh in will be 1 wk from the check of my starting weight (the day before I started this diet)-so this Sunday! (which I will be sure to do BEFORE the super bowl, that way to keep fresh in my mind the progress I have made that I dont want to lose over some half time snack! Check out the recipe board for my Super Bowl Sunday "Boneless Buffalo Wings" would also love to hear more ideas on some healthy but yummpy Super Bowl snack ideas!!
