About Me
I am a 46 year old, stay at home mom who suffers with bipolar disorder and have gained weight over the years. The weight is possibly from medication, but I want to be able to control it. I have a very picky family, so I know that they will not be joining me in this adventure, so I could use all of the support that I can get. I am 5'1" and weigh 160 lbs. I would like to lose between 30 to 40 pounds.

Hi. How are you?
Hi Mistif, I know how you feel about having low energy and lethargic. I feel that way most days. I was hoping that I would have so much more energy by now too,. Hang in there and try to keep going. I am on day 19 and have lost 14 pounds. I had a small stroke last saturday and have been in the hosptial most of this week but still kept watching my food. I spoke with all my doctors and they said the diet had nothing to do with the stroke. I know with weight loss and eating betting we be healthier people.
Hi misfit - don't become discouraged because the energy is not there. I don't have a lot of energy most days. Maybe when we see more weight loss the energy will increase. Good luck.
HI
I have been on antidepressants for the past year and I know what you mean about the weight gain!
DO NOT beat yourself up for falling from the program. This is not a quick fix, it's a lifestyle change. We have to completely change how we think and what we do, It's not going to happen quickly. Acknowledge you had a bad day, didn't stick with the plan and move on! TOMORROW WILL BE BETTER ! We are all in this together and I am here to support you !!!

Hi Mistif, Thank you for the encouragement. I finally was able to start exercising yesterday. It has been so long since I exercised because of health issues, and I'm not a big fan of exericise, but know its important for good health. I also know that exercising helps shed the pounds along with dieting. I was able to walk my dogs around the block and also did a 1 mile walk with Leslie Sansone walking workout. I hope you are able to start a exercise program soon. Congratulation to you too for starting this diet and I pray your journey will be a fun one.
WOW mistif, I can't wait to step on the scale, I am only hoping that I can do as well as you are doing! Good luck, keep me posted, its more fun having a support group!
Today was my first day on the 17 Day Diet and it went pretty well. I followed the diet to the tee. I'm really missing my Coke, though. Coke is my coffee first thing in the morning. I can't wait to see how this all turns out.
