excessive shin on upper eye lids

I have too much skin on my upper eyelids. My eyeliner ends up all over my eye lids after I apply it and if I sweat it is even worse. I can feel the extra skin all the time. It is like having weights attached to my eyelids. It is not only unattractive but uncomfortable. I would like to know if there is anything I can do to fix this problem or do I have to have Blepharoplasty? I would also like to know if this is going to get worse as I age? Am I going to have to repair it someday?

If you are like me, the answer is yes, it does get worse as you age. If it gets really bad some insurance companies will pay for fixing it, but only when it cuts in to your field of vision.
