sleep walking

My sister has been able to fully communicate, get ready for school, screams, and even kicks and punches her husband in her sleep. she has woke up reaching for something that wasn't there over the balcony. I'm worried that she could get hurt, please do a show on this subject, whats going on with my sister!?
