I would like to tell you a story about Helen Daniels.
Helen Daniels is a 103 year old woman who had spinal surgery, a Balloon Kyphoplasty, 3 years ago at the age of 100 that saved her life, by myself, Dr. Kenneth K. Hansraj, MD, Orthopedic Spine Surgeon.
"She was mentally sharp and medically healthy" in order to withstand this procedure. Without this surgery she would have already been deceased due to old age, the tolls of being in a bed ridden state and the inability to walk or live her life the way it was.
Since surgery, Helen has been able to reclaim her life and live again. She is able to walk and stand up straight and enjoy tasks of everyday living. This is an amazing story of hope and inspiration as Ms. Daniels reached her 103 rd birthday back in December 2011.
This is an excellent segment to produce and share with the world. A little knowledge goes a long way and in the case of Ms.Daniels, it has gone an extra 3 years!
