Many women wrote to Produce The Doctors, explaining that they experience pain during sex. Community member renaeleeeckert shared her story with us and says that having sex is so painful for her that it becomes unbearable.
A sexual dysfunction that few women know about which may be the cause is Vaginismus, a painful spasm of the muscles surrounding the vaginal opening causing it to tighten. We decided to bring in sex expert Dr. Ruth Westheimer to help explain this dysfunction.
Tune-in to the show to find out more about Vaginismus and learn how you can treat the painful condition.
