All About Sweat

Posted by AP Judy to Disease/Illness, Feb 10, 2010 10:30am

When our producing team was brainstorming for our show “Your Body Fluids Explained,” we came  to ProduceTheDoctors.com to collaborate with YOU, to see what was on YOUR mind! While some of you wrote in about urine, menstrual blood and pus, several of our community members such as dparrish59 and myabug2009 felt that we needed to address sweat related questions. So our team started researching away!

We were so inspired by the online community’s response that we decided to dedicate an entire segment to sweat! If you have ever complained about sweat stains or want to know which deodorant is best for you, or simply just wanted to know more about one of your 26 body fluids (yep 26), tune in to see your ideas come to life!

How about a show discussing anhidrosis? My daughter is a prisoner in our home for half the year, as she cannot sweat. If it's hot out, or strong sun, she's stuck in her room under the A/C. We've been to numerous specialists over the last decade and nobody can tell us what's going on.

Although I found the show to be extremely informative, I was disappointed that cervical fluid was not mentioned. Many women often mistake their cervical fluid (a sign of fertility) as a possible infection. Likewise, many women do not realize that one of the major factors in a successful conception is the presence of cervical fluid.
