If this is not post partem, is it normal for relationships to fail shortly after a child birth and will a relationship typically rebound as the child grows older? Lastly, is it common for women to be hyper-vigilant and more receptive to a childs needs than a man after the birth of a child (example heightent concerns for germs, lack of trust of a husband around their child, and dissatisfaction of any third party assistance around the home)? I am a committed father and a loving husband but there is a significant and almost unbearable amount of stress being acquired by both of us. I am not sure if I should be alarmed by this change in our relationship or if this type of behavior typically precedes broken homes.

I have to say I'm not a prude, I'm not a virgin, married twice and divorced just as many times. But with the way tv is going these days it's almost a given that on the "umpteenth" date sex is a given. But not only that, it's almost an instruction manual to youth, yet the consequences of diseases and pregnancy are so minimally introduced. Bring back the anticipation of "what happens next" instead of showing it .... like TCM does......

AND I would also like to say that education begins and ultimately ends in the home. But TV and the internet is a big educational tool these days.
