We women love to wear those sexy shoes as much as the men love to see us in them. I admit I have a closet full of shoes as I imagine so many others do. However, as I am getting older it is difficult to wear them comfortably. Pain in the ball of my foot, numbing second toe, blisters from breaking in period, cramping at night after hours of wearing and dancing, etc. What can we do to prevent these symptoms, what should we look for in a high heeled shoe, what can we do to relief the symptoms, etc.

My idea is based on personal experience. I have had chronic fatigue, hair loss, insomnia and many other nagging symptoms for a long time and it has almost finished me off at times. After seeing 3 doctors over a period of over 2 years, finally the 3rd doctor ran a specific blood test that found my thyroid was low in spite of other thyroid tests coming back ok. Through a saliva test, she found my cortisol level extremely low as well contributing to my fatigue. Other doctors I've seen have made negative comments of this type of testing. (I would love to hear your opinions on these alternative tests.) Hormone levels were shown to be way off also. After my diagnosis, I am having a very hard time regulating meds and feeling better even though we now know the problem. There have to be other women experiencing these problems and wanting questions answered...such as "why would it take so long and so many opinions to actually diagnose a thyroid issue?" and "where are the answers if the medication isn't working?"
The alternative testing could be a segment all of it's own. My doctor has done a couple of different tests along this line and prove to find things othe tests don't.

I would like to know what type, if any, germs and bacteria live in a microwave oven that is not cleaned completely after each use. I have seen food splattered on the walls of microwaves where uncovered food is placed. Don't the food particles still spoil? Can't those food particles transfer bacteria to the next food item placed into the unit? If I heat water, or coffee in the microwave, won't steam melt the food particles clinging to the ceiling of the oven, and drop them into the coffee?

you talk about the health risks of being obese, having high blood pressure, high blood sugar, etc. I would like to see a show or segment about the health risks on the other end of these topics. about being under weight, having low blood pressure, being hypoglycemic, and things like that. i think it would help alot of people.

People in the USA have a tendency to avoid discussing death. Having suffered a loss myself and knowing friends who lost spouses, I think it would be beneficial to have a discussion regarding the very REAL symptoms associated with grief, both physical and emotional. People who have NOT lost someone tend to avoid discussing the person who has passed on and even stop contact with the person who remains behind. Widows (and probably widowers) are treated very differently...almost like the condition is contagious!
