On May 30, 2000 my husband (John Anthony Amato) died. His cause of death was A: Cardiac Tamponade D/T ThoracicAaortic Dissection. He was 32.
He was DOA therefore not a candidate for organ donation. I did donate his corneas and bones. Two people had their eyesight restored and his bone has helped many people. The first person he helped was me. I had an anterior cervical disckectomy with fusion five months after his death. His bone was used. It was the first time tissuenwas received as open donation and made it's way back to the person authorizing donation.
I loved your segment on organ donation, but once again the topic of tissue donation was not donated. I sometimes feel as if tissue donors are not appreciated.
Making the decision to donate the issue of our loved one caused us just as much pain and the tissue helps so many people in so many ways. Please give us a voice; get the word out
I have included a link with more info about my story.

Talk about the symptoms and effects of hypothyroidism, the causes, the treatments, the medications, and the long-term effects.
Hypothyroidism is a lifetime illness that must be managed. Many primary care physicians don't understand how much the thyroid affects the body and many bodily functions. I've had doctors dismiss concerns that I have as just me getting older, such as hair loss or dizzyness. They don't want to consider that my TSH levels may not be optimal for me. Symptoms by themselves may not by themselves indicate anything major is wrong, but considered together as a whole, may indicate that thyroid functions are not completely right.
I had Graves disease over 20 years ago, had the iodine treatment to kill of my thyroid, and have taking synthroid every since.
Thanks for considering.

Have an overview of cysts:
- Difference between a zit and a cyst
- What kinds: below the skin vs. internal
- Where you can get them - on the skin - face, body, genitals, etc. or internally - intestines, ovaries, uterus, rectal, etc.
- Skin cysts - what to do and what not to do. What to do when they rupture to avoid infection. How to effectively and safely ease the pain.
- Internal cysts - explain how they can rupture, complications from a rupture and what to do when they do rupture. Lead in to how to avoid developing a fistula by proper care after a rupture.
- When to see a doctor versus self treating
- how to minimize scaring
Lastly - identify what people can do to make their body healtuier to resist developing cysts. Are there some individuals predisposed to developing cysts? If so, what can they do.

I am currently suffering/recovering from b12 deficiency, and would love to see a show that would bring about awareness of this commonly misdiagnosed illness.

I have had pimples on my bottom for as long as I can remember. I wear only cotton underwear, I use all natural body soap, laundry detergents and lotions, nothing with harsh chemicals. I had this problem back when I was using regular commercial soaps and lotions and switching to natural products didnt make a difference. Is there something that could be causing this? I dont have acne on my face.

What scoliosis is?, causes for it, symptons of scoliosis, treatment for scoliosis: braces, etc. and the latest surgery information on scoliosis. How often people should get examined for this? I found out I had scoliosis in spring 1994 when one day I came home from school and my head was tilted to the right and my right ear practically touched my right shoulder. my mom immediately took me to the family chiropractor and they took xrays of my neck/back. i went to the chiropractor twice a week for about 2-3 months to help correct my neck/back. As a result of that I also have a leg length inequality of approximately 1-2 inches.
