I woud like to see a show about primary infertility, diagnosis, treatment, the emotional toll and the strain it can cause in the relationship. I am 30 years old my husband is 32. We have been trying to conceive for the last 3 years with 1 ectopic pregnancy and two early miscarriages. We are both healthy professionals and never thought that we would be in this position. I have endometriosis and ovulation disorder with low progesterone. This roller coaster ride has left physically, emotionally and financially drained. Our insurance does not cover infertility treatments so everything is paid out of pocket. The emotional costs of having hormone fluctuations, timed intercourse and dealing with the pregnancies of friends relatives and co-workers have been almost numbing. It seems as if there is an epidemic of people in our situation who put their education and careers before starting a family and are now facing these same challenges. Even though we know we are not alone, it certainly feels that way.
