I am a divorced fifty year old female with inverted nipples---they have always been inverted so this is nothing new. This is something that is very embarrassing to me and makes me feel that my breasts just aren't attractive. I was unable to effectively breastfeed my child.

I have looked on-line at the procedures which can correct this condition but find that this just looks painful plus these sites don't tell how much the procedure would cost. My doctor just tells me I shouldn't worry about this because this condition is normal and shouldn't interfere in a loving relationship.

I have tried little devices which were suppose to help---one device pulls out the nipple while wearing a small little plastic cap and the other was just a shield. Both devices were recommended for anyone trying to breastfeed. Do I just accept this as normal and are men grossed out by the appearance of inverted nipples?

Keeping age appropriate health practices will benefit all - surgeries, medicine, activities, as well as others things. When we are young, we think we will live without problems. Suddenly, I am 66, and where has the time gone. I am active - however, if I had paid more attention to keeping healthly as I aged- my knees, my weight and other issues would be better. So guidelines of health practices for ages I think would be helpful. We don't always go for checkups or ask the doctors questions. I love your show and watch it. I was 36 when I awoke with a "headache from hell". I had a "migraine" every 6 weeks or so, but this was so bad I could not say anything but "Take me to the hospital!" Long story - walked around with a pea sized bleed on my brain for a month. Called a hypochondriac by my doctor. Had a stroke but drove 5 hours home from a trip. CT scan done at first had showed bleed, but tech had never seen a brain hemmorhage , & did not know what it was. Eventual brain surgery.I have no long term effects except short term memory loss - usually when I am very stressed or tired. The three items I'd like to see featured re: ... Don't stop trying to find out what is wrong if your headache does not go away with any treatment! And .... alert people who had surgery with metal clips on the brain (in my case) or other metal in their body that they MUST NOT have an MRI if their metal is attracted by magnets. My surgery was pre-MRI invention... so I almost had a fatal test. And... I scoffed when told that the blood vessel weakness was hereditary. I knew of no one who'd had aneurysm. Then, after moving back to the town where I grew up, my real estate agent was a cousin... and in casual conversation, we discovered that our grandmothers - who were sisters -- had 3 siblings "drop dead". The cousin's brother has has FIVE cerebral aneurysms & has few ill effects. Guess that makes us TWO in a million to survive.

This happens more often in the USA then is published or reported. My mother in law went in for Throidectomy a simpel 3 hr procuder. She recived Secound and third degree burns to her face after O2 was ignited by the carterizing tool. She lost her chin part of her nose and ear. After 12-15 surgeries to help restore her chin and lower lip. She is still un abel to drink from a cup with out a straw. If there is a bright side to she is stiil with us and is fiting to make others aware of this danager.

I have been a pharmacy technician most of my life, and I have seen alot. One thing many people don't understand is that they cannot take the same amount of medicine in milligrams if the medicine itself is different. Example: Diuril and Hygroton. So, if someone tries to take 500 mg of hygroton to meet 500mg of Diuril, they could very well die from it. People don't understand enough about medicine, and the seriousness involved with taking it. Also, I have worked in hospitals where expired meds, and the wrong meds given are commonplace. How many people die each year from either an expired med or wrong med given.
