There are families throughout the world praying and hoping for either their first child or to increase their family size. Time changes many things and for people desiring the gift of a child after surgical sterilization, hope and faith are clung to desperately. There are many factors involved; finding a reversal doctor, financing the procedure, fertility factors in the other partner, and (unfortunately for us) failure of the procedure. After a failed first attempt, what to do next? Consider a redo procedure and with who? Consider IVF with ICSI? Not to mention all the relationship stress and emotions involved. Feelings of hurt, guilt, fear, and disappointment. Permanent sterilization is something that needs to be a fully educated decision with the consideration of both partners in the relationship as well as some forward thinking. What if situations would change in the future? Would you reconsider the procedure? It should always be completely considered as permanent. Even with developments in surgical techniques, not all sterilizations can be reversed and those that can are at a great expense! You may frequently hear people tell stories about someone they know who was reversed and went on to have a dozen children. How often do people tell stories of someone who attmepted and failed? It is misleading to the general population when on tv sitcoms people consider vasectomies as "easily reversible" and they are always successful. I think it's important to show the difficulty and expense involved as well as the human aspect of it. It's a different side of infertility that isn't always accepted as such, because "you did it to yourself." There are online support groups filled with families from all over the world struggling with this issue. I'm sure many would be willing to share their stories, as would we. Thank you for taking the time to consider this.

I propose an all female audience concentrating on the female orgasm. How to achieve it, how to sustain it, how long it's supposed to last, whether women ejaculate, explore the possibilities of a non-existent or broken g-spot, if the orgasm from intercourse differs from oral sex. I imagine this show being fun, yet very informative and honest.

This is an excellent book by Rugters professor Helen Fisher on the psychology and neurology on love.... very interesting.

After seeing the show today with Dr Ruth, I feel its important to show all sides and aspects. There is a great company out there I found called Pure Romance. I have seen a lot of episodes where you talk about/mention sex toys and sexual enhancement products but have never had anyone on to explain them, their uses, and why couples would want to and why they should use them. The company has wonderful items such as bath, massage, bedroom accessories, lubricants, games, etc. When I started going to these in-home party plan parties I really learned alot about the products, my relationship with my husband, and myself. I think it is important to share the info about these products as well as how they relate to couples relationships, as well as their sexual health and well being. You should definately think about having Patty on your show to discuss these topics. She actually years ago (1983) first saw info about these types products on the Phil Donahue Show of all places!!
