As someone who was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma in 2008 and underwent chemotherapy ,I would welcome a segment on how you are expected to deal with the after effects of chemo on your physical appearance. I hear a lot about emotional effects and how to deal with them but never how to deal with what it does to your appearance. Since chemotherapy my face has aged over 5 years, I now have Xanthomas and malar festoons that appeared after chemo, I have deep set wrinkles, age spots and an overall tired appearance. I'm not a poor person but still can't afford the Cosmetic Surgery it would take to erase these years from my face. My insurance company had no problem paying for the treatment that caused this aging but, of course, will not pay to correct the damage that the treatment has done to my face. How are you expected to bounce back from chemotherapy when the effects from it are staring at you in the mirror on a daily basis?
