My mother was diagnosed with a rare form of Ovarian cancer, peritoneal cancer, almost one year ago. Mine and my family's life completely changed at that point. We were thrown into an unknown world with fear, anxiety and the unknown. There was no time to prepare, no time to grab hold of how much our lives would exactly change. I lost other family members to cancer but this time I was the one who now was the caregiver. It is not easy to be a caregiver. I am still learning and trying my best despite whatever hurdles or loops come up. No one ever tells you how to prepare for this, especially since my mother's cancer is a rare and aggressive form. I know so much more about breast cancer or colon cancer or prostate or even lung but peritoneal is not often talked about.. I hope that there will be an episode that provides support to caregivers who are suddenly faced with the difficult journey of caregiving. Something that can say this is what you may face emotionally, physically and information wise...these are the questions you will need to ask, the things you will need to fight for, the matters which you will need to be strong enough for...but most of all an episode that says I understand.

I don't feel like I will get the needed Liver Transplant in the USA and would like to find another Country that I can go to purchase a Cadaver Liver. I seen you post Organ Donors at the end of the show 1 time. Please do what you can to promote Organ Donors on tv and your Website.. Thank you, Robert Johnson.

Here it is March 9, 2010, and I have yet to start on my New Year's Resolution. I only made one but it was a very important one. I told myself that I would do what I could to educate others about the debilitating and sometimes deadly disease of Scleroderma. Scleroderma means hardening of the skin and is an autoimmune disease. The body over produces collagen. It can effect skin, bones & muscles, the lungs, the digestive track, and the circulatory system. Scleroderma affects each individual differently. I would like everyone to know that there is no cure for this disease. Please, please, pray for a cure, pray for researchers, pray for doctors, and pray for those families whose love ones suffer with this disease.

Our daughter (mid-age) has all the symptoms of Morgellons disease and would love to see you all do a segment on this subject.
There is a lot of people with these symptoms across the U.S. but very little help. I know CDC is working on it but help is needed immediately.

Help people understand why a doctor tells a person they have terminal cancer, and then goes on to tell them the treatment they need. I would like a legitimate answer as to why a doctor would say you have 6 months to live? If they know you only have 6 months to live, why go through the torture...

I would like a legitimate answer as to why a doctor would say you have 6 months to live? If they know you only have 6 months to live, why go through the torture of that treatment? Money? But furthermore, doesn't that tell the person to just go ahead and give up instead of fighting? I wonder how many people have commited suicide because they were told this. And then there are the people that are told this that live years and years longer.

I was just told by my doctor that I have asthma, I'm 38 yrs old and this is new to me. With all the meds, and inhalers. I was a very active person and now I have to be careful about things i do. Doing a show on this is very important.
