THE DOCTORS, DR. PHIL, OPRAH, DR. OZ, CELEBRITY APPRENTICE, etc. (to name a few shows) the time passes by quickly.
While watching THE DOCTORS, during commercials, I do hand weight repetitions and my exercise band where I count how many I do to be sure I do enough then during THE DOCTORS I pedal while watching. THE DOCTORS is such a fun show that before I know it THE DOCTORS has made my day with a smile and is over and time to make lunch for Lynn. Zero guilt for sitting watching because I exercised while watching and no as I get up hoping I can work exercises into my day because I already did.
To me, a cool living room is one that includes exercise equipment so couch potatoes peel themselves off the sofa & easy chairs and become part of World's Largest Exercise Party partying by exercising while watching fave shows.
Even just a set of hand weight and an exercise elastic band are enough to get started. If don't have any exercise equipment you can even use same weight household products for each hand as weights etc. and improvise. Arm circles, leg lifts, lean to the left & right stretches etc. A recumbent or traditional exercise bike are great too to multi-task exercising. I have my hand weights beside me and my elastic band on hanging on handle bars to use during commercials.
No, I don't look like Jillian Michaels although I was pretty close to being in that good of shape until 40's. However, I am keeping 10 pounds off I lost. I began just with recumbent bike yet each time I exercise it is easier to do my hand weights and elastic band. I added 100 arm circles each way too. Remember those from physical education in school.
When people get out of high school and college they don't have anyone to organize a team. THE DOCTORS are doing a wonderful job doing just that aren't they? Hillary Rodham clinton is so right it takes a village and that village/team is us "one for all and all for one" to become the healthiest we all possible can one healthy choice at a time. Life is like economics: choice and I wish us all the healthiest most beneficial choices to last a life time "and" the best habits because life is mostly habit.
So I hope you get started to be the change you want to see and make the changes you need to make to see the *"Change Reaction" in you to becoming the healthiest you can be for YOU and for those who love you. Me too. WE too.

As well, I do some of Jay and Dr. Phil's breathing exercises (equalizing my breaths to same count each way (Dr. Phil says 7 and jay says 5)) that they've suggested in their books.
