I would like to see information given our about the signs and symptoms of sleep apnea in children. This is a dangerous disease that is not discussed much and needs to be brought to the attention of many parents. I told my daughters pediatrician about her sleep walking and talking while asleep but was told it was no big deal and just to make sure the door was locked due to her sleepwalking.

Let new parents and parents in general know about SIDS. I lost my son to SIDS and not many people know exactly what it is. Please give parents an understanding of SIDS.

Please vote for CHD, we need more awareness. The struggle doesn't end, it is a life long defect. We are never fixed, we are only repaired, and most of the time it is just a temporary repair...... I was born with TOF, a congenital heart defect. We need to let everyone know that there is more to heart disease than "aquired heart disease". Babies are born everyday with congenital heart disease, some of them are lucky to make it to their first birthday let alone adulthood. We need more research so that we can continue to live longer healthier lives without repeated surgeries. To date I have had 3 open heart surgeries, but that is not the end, I will need another one or more in the next few-several years. Not to mention all of the other tests and proceedures that go along with it. Yes, we look normal, and most people would ever expect or know without being told that we do have a heart defect that we live with everday of our lives. Please help!!! VOTE, VOTE, VOTE

Also, they have started antibiotics daily and I question the long term effect. I had never heard of IGA prior to the diagnosis. Our daughter has been quite ill her entire first year with ear infections, sinus infections, pneumonia, RSV, bronchitis, and asthma. Our son has intestinal problems.

Colic causes extreme pain in babies but they have no idea why or what area is hurting. They have no treatment for it and do not know how long it lasts. Colic is a doctors diagnosis when they do not know what is wrong with your child and they say they will grow out of whatever is wrong with them. We have had a child with "colic" that screamed in pain for the first 5 months of his life and no one could find anything wrong with him. He was diagnosed with having a bad case of colic. Are we researching this, or do we not pay it any attention because they cant speak up and tell us how bad it is??
