Breast buds on teenage boys

My grandson that is 14 has hard lumps under the nipples and it is disturbing to him. We wiil ask our pediatrian about this ASAP. I looked it up on the internet and these probably are a puberty issue called breast buds on girls. And on boys these should go away.
