This is scary to parents and the kids since we did not know this could show up. And the internet said many boys even have some tissue on the breasts that looks like they have boobs so the kids don't want to go swimming or do any other activity that exposes their breasts. It may alot more prevelant than we know and causes great emotional trauma for boys and some men

A show with audience children and... This would be a great way to get children interested in healthy choices. Children who go to show could receive scrubs in pink or blue or other colors with their name monogrammed on. And/or a doctor's jacket. Or with THE DOCTORS logo is what most might like. Inspiring healthy habits and maybe a few future doctors, nurses, scientists and other medical professional careers.

Have a contest at LA schools, to write in questions for the doctors and in a random drawing pick audience. Then, everyone at their schools would be excited and could have a tape to watch at school assembly. Could be nationwide too... up to y'all at THE DOCTORS.

Or teachers could pick most unpopular children in school so they'd instantly be popular. A good way to interject Jay's anti-bully pledge too. Four for all levels of school: grade, junior high, high school and college +. Also, a celebrity for each age group might want to visit show too, i.e., from Sesame Street to your street.

My daughter was born in 2003. Even though my pregancy was high risk due to Lupus, everything went fine. Until we brought her home. She would not take the bottle, and her eyes started rolling back in her head. We then called the doctor and he told us to take her temp. It was 96 degress. and told us to ger her to the ER. When we got to the ER they took her from us and did a spinal tap. Then let us come in her room where they took her sugar level and it was only 3. At first they thought that the machine was broke. Well, it wasn't. Then iI was watching her and noticed her lips where changing colors, we then got pushed out of the room. Moments later a doctor came in a said she was ok, but they do not know what is wrong, and we need to prepare ourselves when we see her. She was on a ventalator. She was then put in ICU> She could not maintain her sugar levels or keep her body temp. where is needed to be. We took two steps fowards and three steps back for many many days. Seemed like she was getting better as long as she had the IV in. Well, the had a central IV by her diaper and it got infected and caused us to go back to ICU and her belly grew and grew. They had to do explority stomach surgery , but her blood would not clot, we had to kiss her and say our good byes because they did not think she would make it through the surgery. Well, she did her liver was norcrotic and her spleen was inflammed. They started doing IVIG's. Well it went on and on not knowing what was really wrong finally her peditrican came in and she that her pituaruty gland was so small they consider it not even there. She also had to have heart sugery due to her PDA tube did not close when she was born. Two months in ICU at Kosair Childrens Hospital in Louisville Kentucky.
She gets a growth hormone injections everyday and two other meds. THere is even more to her story. We have spent 2 Christmas in Kosair due to Febrile seziures that she had on Christmas Eve, and low blood sugar level because she got sick the night befor Christmas a year back.
She has had other surgeries due to other reasons that include: Cyst removal under her chin, Tubes, Tonsil and adnoid removal. She is a very special child and is loved very much! If that is not enough I have Lupus and Kidney diease. We are a walking medical textbook. Please contact me with any questions.

This will realy inpress kids that even if their hands look cleans they aren't, and teach them the inportance of washing. All you need it a clear small zip lock bag and same apple slices. As soon as the kids came in from school or playing before they wash thier hands give them a apple slice and have them rub it all over their hands, place the apple slice into the bag and purge as much of teh air out of the bag and zip it shut lable dirty hands. Next have the kids wash their hands and repeat with a apple slice and bag lable clean hands. now just leave the bags on teh counter top undesribed for about a week you may check them every day if you wish but do not open the bags. You will watch the dirty apple slice become very discusting whole the clean hands apple slice will turn brown just as an apple does after being sliced but it dosn't get green and fuzzy and have that sciene progrect. Worked well to teach my own kids to wash their hands.
