My daughter and I have several autoimmune diseases. That being said, my daughter has Crohn's. It seems like I hear of this and ulcer colitis are more prevalent than ever before. More young people are getting this. My daughter was near 20 years old when she was diagnosied. A show talking about diet, prevention,(if any) and how to live with the disease, especially with a colostomy.

If that doesn't work, a show concerning inflamatory diseases and the use of predisone and its side effects. Before being diagnosed with polymyositis I was on large doses of predisone for three years leaving behind more problems.

This is a true story about a 30yr. old male who may be dieing because no one can figure out what is wrong with him. He has had Diabetes since he was a teenager . The youngest of a whole bunch of kids, no one else in the family ever had this disease. He was told he got it from a virus. Can this really happen?
His name is David A. we all call him Andy.
Andy had uncontrollable bouts of Diarrhea and stomach pain. Test after test, inside and out.. The latest a 4 Hr. CAT scan.. they found nothing.
His Doctors say the Neuropathy is working on his major organs, just the opposite of most people who have Diabetes.
In Nov. 2008 Andy's Gallbladder was removed. In the spring May2009 ,
Andy had a total hip replacement because his bones were as brittle as that of a 68yr.old. man. Arthuritis pain became unbearable. Andy still continued to lose weight after changes in diet , medication nothing seems to help. Two days before Christmas Andy was curled in a fetal position in pain. He had surgery for a blockage which is described as and compared to as a kink in a garden hose. a by pass is done. We went to see Andy Christmas Day still in a lot of pain from the surgery. Not eating other than IV's he improves a little so they send him home on Tues. after Christmas he still has the Diarrhea worse now. 5 days later Sunday Jan. 3rd 2010 Andy goes back to the hospital because he has lost 7lbs. in 2 days total weight now is 152. Andy is approx.6ft. tall and use to look like a Football player and weighted well over 200 lbs. his Doctors now say there must be another disease or something they are missing. What is it ? can you help save Andy's life? Before it is too late.. Andy has a wife and 3 beautiful children who love him dearly and would like to keep him around for a long time..

The awareness needs to be put out there. Even though we did all the right steps, or so we thought, our child was diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma. This is a fast growing bone cancer that attacks between the age of 10 and 25. Our family doctor told us for over a year it was growing pains. It is very rare, but seems to be on the rise. Hospitals are filling up with new cases. This was two years ago and he is stable today. Any ache or pain starts a panic in us.
