I think there should be a segment to remind people how important it is to keep your back in shape. It is the key to every function we do everyday. I have a job which is very physical and involves bending and stooping quite a bit. Funny thing is "I" work for a doctor's office. On one very busy day I went to stoop and move something at the same time and well there ya go. I had an amazing pain run down my left leg. Didnt think much about it at the time but was going thru the next few days with such pain that I have never experience, after having this for more than four days I knew this was not right so I made an appt with an ortho doctor. Was given meds to help with the pain and keep me immoble. 5 days later saw another doctor who said it looks like it's my back and had an MRI and discovered a buldging disk in L4, L5 and S1. This was also the reason while from the knee down I was experiencing a numbing sensation and weakness. I have been off of work for 3 weeks now and never thought this would happen to me. I was always careful on how I performed tasks but at the time I had a lot of work that had to be done and I let it get the best of me.
So I think it would be a good idea to do a segment on proper back care and proper bending and lifting because our backs are so important to us.
Thank you,
