My youngest daughter was hospitalized at age 6 mo with symptoms simalur to tremors. The hospital ran all kinds of test, but nothing was ever diagnosed as to why she had this. It stopped at the age of 9 mo. She never developed at the time her age group should have. She never crawled or rolled over as a baby. However she did scoot on her butt . At the age of 10 mo I was still having to prop her up in pictures. She is now 9 yro and has been placed into ESE classes at school since kindergarten. She is a 9 yro that is on a 5 yro level. Very immature. At approx. age 5 she was also diagnosed with petite mal seizures. She was on medication for a couple of years and has recently been taken off of them. Her seizures had improved and they are testing her to see how well she does without meds. She is also gaining weight like crazy. In one week she gained 6 lbs. Tests were ran and AGAIN NOTHING! My concern is that obviously there is a reason why all of this is going on in her life and her development. Is there any way you can help me to figure out what step to take next to help my child or to find out if she has been misdiagnosed somewhere down the line???

My son has been living with a girl Alicia for over 2 years now. Alicia has been supporting him through a very tough time in his life. I have come to love her like a daughter (I have two sons, no girls). Alicia is a sweet, extremely intelligent and beautiful girl. The problem? She doesn't believe any of it! She has no self confidence what so ever. She needs braces for over crowded (but VERY WHITE) teeth. She is small breasted and I believe this happened because while she was in puberty she was very overweight and went on a starvation (anorexia perhaps) diet to loose the weight, which she did. I believe doing this stunted her breast growth. (I am not a doctor, but I believe this is a great guess on my part!) The other thing about her figure is that no matter how healthy she eats or how much she exercises ... she is big in the middle. The girl is a runner and has legs to die for, but can't lose weight in the middle no matter what she does.

I have thought about writing to you about helping her many times but what finally did it for me was when she went out with severl girlfriends the othe evening and she told me that for a good part of the evening all she was doing was looking at how they had bigger breasts than her and perfect teeth or tiny waists.

Alicia has pretty much been there for my son 24/7 for the past two years. I want to do something for her that will change the rest of her life. Don't get me wrong here. It's not like the things she's self conscience about aren't real. They are. But, it's all she focuses on. I think she is beautiful now. But, being a woman, I know how these things monopolize your every thought. I am 56 years old and have had stretch marks and surgery scars on my tummy from C-sections for 37 years. I refuse to let anyone see me naked. Maybe you could fix me too!

I am an avid watcher of your show here in Saudi Arabia. I have been a diabetic now for over 35 years and have maintained relatively good health. 3 years ago whilst in Australia I purchased a Animas insulin pump and since then my control has been so much better, but it still remains hard , here in the middle east especially with the severe weather conditions.
I read recently that Animas (Johnston & Johnston ) were in the process of producing a device that would go sub cutaneous and contninually monitor my blood sugars the bluetooth them tho my insulin pump?
Since roughly 65% of Saudi national have type 1 and 2 diabtetes and your show is translated in to Arabic I think it would be a good idea for your show to do a segment on the latest technology available for diabetes control.

I live in a nice duplex that I rent and have a black film on everything in the house. The walls have black on them. When you wash them( and you have to dry them) it takes top black off and leaves marks where the pictures were on the walls. It is like this in all rooms. White curtains are now gray and nothing will take it out. My basement leaks water on one wall once a year. Walls are bubbled through out the house. I believe it is mold and am having it checked now. My daughter rents a home and hers is as bad as mine. She also has a wet basement. I wonder how many people have this problem and aren't aware of it. Very unhealthy. I might have to move but is it true that everything it is on in the house I'll carry on to the next place?I have talked with a plummer and a painter and they both said it is mold.
