I want to see more training for teachers to be aware of the signs, unlike one teacher who told us our son needed to be medicated. I want the world to be mainstreamed to this increasingly common disability.

As a person who has been diagnosed with RSD in2004 after a work accident, i thought I was going nuts because the pain I was feeling was not in my head but the Drs. at the time could not find anything wrong using normal testing tools. The way it has changed my life has been astounding and so far the only treatment that has help is a combination of medications and a Dorsal Column Stimulator.
I had never heard of this disorder until then and most around me have no clue what RSD is and how it can affect e persons life.
