Hi Doctors!
I discovered a fantastic “virtual surgery” website that you may wish to share with your viewers. My Grade 3 students were enthralled with the activities provided by www.edheads.org. It was amazing to watch my class become hip replacement and resurfacing “surgeons”. The site also has a link to virtual knee and brain operations. The activities take the students through the beginning stages of surgery (prepping the patient) to choosing which tools are needed for each part of the procedure.
There are also additional links providing details about the world of medicine. There is a glossary of medical terms and patient feedback. This website also provides information about the roles of the surgical team: anaesthetists, medical assistants, surgical technicians, residents of surgery, R.N.’s and Physical Therapists.
For educators (and parents) there are links to lesson plans. I can honestly say that I definitely have a class of future medical students! They were intrigued and enthusiastic about becoming virtual surgeons!

I am 23 years old and have been Maried for 1 year.My husband and I are now planning to start a family,but we would like to have twins.Is there a way to incresase your chances of having twins,either naturally or with medications?and what are the risks?One thing that i need to mention is the fact that my husband has twins in his family,but i believe that only women carry out that gen since only his sisters so far have had twins so far.

I know I'm one of thousands who have this idea for you for a show but PLEASE READ ON and I will tell you what makes my idea different from most.

I was a smoker for 19 years. Yes, thank god, was. Like every smoker I was convinced that I liked smoking but I knew for my health that I had to quit. I tried everything to quit ( gum,patches,pills, etc) but nothing made me want to quit. It’s been 6 months now and I still have no desire to smoke and I know I never will.

I recently watch an online piece about the e cig?! How ridiculous that people still think that the best way to quit smoking is to use a produce that just makes you suffer through the quitting process.

I quit and I know others that have also easily quit using Allen Carrs easy way to quit smoking. I just read the book and quit. Now here's what I don't get. Why is it that the media still strongly pushes produces such as nic gum and patches as a band aid fix to this addiction. Really, is the best idea to fight a nicotine addiction to recommend nicotine produces?

So my suggestion to you is to get 10, 50, 100 people who really want to quit to read this book and see how many quit smoking. Talk to Ellen. She quit this same way. Thanks for spreading the word.
