I need your assistance in airing a time-critical story/program that would avert the failing American Health Care System.

I’ve already expended thousands of my own dollars to get the necessary names on a petition to be submitted (along with draft legislation) to Congress – but I need your help!

I was elated when I viewed your Thanksgiving Day broadcast -- eliciting support for story ideas from your viewing audience.

I know you’ll find my broadcast suggestion is in TOTAL ALIGNMENT with the tenants of your health education focused programming.

The Washington Post has expressed interest in my story – however, they want EXCLUSIVE rights to the story -- I hesitate to commit to their offer because I’m afraid the limited reach of this media would not result in adequate numbers of American’s signing the web-based petition to get a hearing in Washington.

I know how difficult changing existing programming is for a show like the Doctors. However, I believe you’ll find the following program is of such critical importance, you may see fit to air it in time to get a fair hearing before Congress before they approve a bill that would devastate the average American.

I know laws vary from STATE to STATE and now the (Dr's TV show) is now even shown in VARIOUS Counties and I think this is and would be wonderful.

Who amoung any of us/laypersons has not been presented with these various forms and requested to sign without knowledge truly of the context of the said forms and had true knowledge of the POA/OR DNA/pr any other form prior to surgery expecially our Seniors and I think having pre knowledge or (kits) or even an (add on) to download here

from your site would be quite benefitial to your/our commuity here.

This will help all of us here and be such a help to all of us but expecially our most treasured, our senior citzens!

I would like to see a show on Brain Aneurysms. I was recently treated at the Cleveland Clinic for a "giant" aneurysm on my basilar artery, I am healthy 33 year old with none of the typical risk factors. I had a non-FDA approved surgery to place a Pipeline stent designed by Covidien. There are few to no good options for treating brain aneurysms and I would like attention brought to this issue with hopes that medical advances will give patients better treatment options and chances for early detection.

The doctors at the Cleveland Clinic have seen a rise in the occurrence of aneurysms, whether that is because they are becoming more common or being diagnosed more frequently is the question. Most aneurysms are found while running scans for other purposes which reveal these time bombs.

While speaking with my doctor, he indicated that there is new evidence that procedures such as coiling or clipping are ineffective long term. For instance, I believe he said coiled aneurysms have a high chance of re-occurrence (80%) . The pressure in the artery compacts the coils into the artery wall and the aneurysm grows so you are left with an aneurysm with a metal lining. Devices like the Pipeline Stent are still untested, but the results are promising.

I have already had 3 stomach hernia surgeires, gall bladder sugery, appenix sugery, a miscarriage, I have asthma, oseto arthitis, I have cirulation problems in my legs, which I'm suppose to wear compression hose for. My stomach is so big it's cutting off circualtion going down to my legs. I can't stand for long periods of time anymore. I'm in constant pain w/ standing, sitting & walking. I'm approx 365lbs. I've been an emotionall eater since I've been approx 14 years old. I'm now 40. thats 20 + years of eating this way. I need someone to show me how to eat all over again.

I would like to raise awareness of a condition called Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita. For short it is called AMC and means curved or hooked joints that are basically frozen since birth. I am the parent of an amazing 6 year old that was born with AMC in South Korea. She joined our family at the age of 3 and is a firecracker. Many doctors are not even familiar with this condition which affects about 1 in 3000 births. Unfortunately parents are often given a grim diagnosis by uninformed medical professionals. I want parents to know that a full happy and healthy life is very possible with arthrogryposis. My daughter's legs, ankles, feet, elbows, and fingers may be all frozen and unable to bend but it doesn't stop her from doing what she wants. There is no cure or "fix" for this orthopedic condition as many well meaning strangers suggest. I know many adults with arthrogryposis and other children that are the most amazing people I have ever met. Please give me a chance to show you and your viewers the beauty and blessing of arthrogryposis and give hope to those parents that are unaware of the blessing they have been given when their child is diagnosed with arthrogryposis multiplex congenita.
