I am a stay-at-home wife with three grown children all moved out with respective mates...at home now is one wonderful husband of 28 yrs. and one goofy boxer (Rocco).

For as much accumulated head knowledge as I seem to have regarding healthy eating/living, I have put very little into practice.  I'm only 5' 3" but I weigh 186 lbs. and if I had to run for my life, I'd be dead.

I thought I was sailing trough menopause because the night sweats were rare and the hot flashes were only enough to let me know what they were.  BUT in the last two months or more, I can see that my sex drive has driven away with the small ammount of energy that I had. (I spend more time retreating into books than cleaning house which has pushed me to look at a type of ADD.  there are about 5 or 6 kinds....not many people know that)

But my wake-up call is my newly discovered inability to concentrate on anything and then I can't remember what I was trying to concentrate on!!  So it was with great interest that I watched your show on the 25'th with Dr. Braverman.

And I thought, "Hey, his book looks familiar....don't tell me I already own it?!"    Well.....I do.  The good news is, it's time to do grocery shopping and you can be sure I'm making out my list with his book as my guide.

Fortunatly, I'm one who eats out rarely and hates the idea of chemicals/preservatives so I don't eat alot of true junk food.  I do have a yearning to eat sweets after dinner and I can see in his book that there's a reason for that as well as any other bad tendencies!!
