Sorry, but that's normal.  I'm a bit darker down there too.  Not everyone looks like those girls in pornos!  I had an issue with my labia for a while when my husband and I watched porn together, all of them had tiny labia that was inside...mine are slightly longer and stick out, so I ended up with a complex for a while.  I was looking into getting plastic surgery, I thought I looked ugly down there.  Then over time, I got over it and just accepted myself as is.  God made me this way, my husband never said anything bad about my area, and I think longer labia makes sex more pleasurable for him anyway, so I try to look at the positive.  Don't compare yourself to others!  I'm beautiful down there, and so are you, I'm sure!  Now, if you wanted to try lightening skin, look into NATURAL products containing kojic acid.  Stay away from commercial products sold in drugstores containing something starting with an "h", forgot the name, but that chemical could be cancer causing, as well as really harsh!

Also, just think of it this way:

High maintenance:  Lightening it for life!, expensive, painful, possible irritation of that highly sensitive area, possible painful sex if the irritation gets bad, time-consuming, negative self-image.

NO maintenance: Acceptance, positive self-image, no pain, time can be spent with your newlywed husband, no stress, free--no money spent on lifetime supply of bleaching cream!
