I am down 16 pounds and ending Cycle 2. Looking back I see that I should have exercised more during Cycle 2 and will step it up on Cycle 3.
However, attended a wine tasting on Friday night and even though I did not consume much wine or the appetizers I picked up the water weight of 3 pounds and have not lost it yet in two days. But I am still postive and encouraged as I have lymphedema and tend to retain fluids-so know that I will be able to wash those three pounds out --- exercise and water are the keys.
Anyone have suggestions on motivating us to exercise?

MUSIC!
It's an old concept, but do you have a "walkman?" Or, these days, do you have an 'mp3' player. Walking with a time clock away from your house (you set your time to 17mins away from your home) and then turn around and sing yourself right back home! Thirty four minutes gone, exercise done, listening to your favorite songs is just like not exercising at all. Plus, it gives you a few minutes with yourself and the Lord. No distractions, no interruptions, peace in the valley!
You are doing great ! I hold water weight like that too, but it does go off if you just keep on target. I found someone to exercise with 3 days a week. The walk is more interesting when talking with someone. I like walking my dogs in good weather too. I also use a i-pad to walk, when alone, and listen to my favorite downloads that I don't have time to listen to in the daytime. I use a meter every day and aim at 10,000 steps. Some days I'm over and 2 days this week I fell short but over all, I mostly do over the 10,000 steps a day. When I first started I wasn't doing near that many, and worked myself up to that in about a week.
