Today's show was very informative, but I'm disappointed that they did not mention that there are many medicine's out there that help the severity of the tics. In case I missed it, but I don't even think that they mentioned whether or not the boy on there was on any medication. I know that medicines don't stop the tics completely, but there are some that do lessen the tics. My sons do great in school also...but they didn't mention the fact that other kids aren't always nice about the interruptions....and sometimes my sons are made fun of for some of their tics. They didn't mention if that boy was ever made fun of in school...

I was hoping they would hit on on the medicines as well because they do help, they help my friend as well. I was wondering f you had saw the show but like you I too was hoping they would spend more time on it because it does affect more people these days. Maybe they will do another show on Tourettes if we can keep this on the messages boards and blogs as it is a serious condition that needs to be addressed.
I was wondering how your boys are doing and how you are feeling after your ER visit for your torn rotator cuff.
