A visit to the Neurologist after 2 years...

So after two years I finally went back to the Neurologist yesterday. Too long for someone like me with Migraines and an as of yet unidentified neurological disorder to go.

Anyways the Neurologist I saw yesterday was new because my old Neurologist had quit between the last time I saw her and the time I was suppose to go back to see her; hence my not going to see a Neurologist for a while.... But it all worked out, this new guy was really really nice. He came in and introduced himself and just started talking away and examining me. He worked with me on my migraines and said that we needed to get me back on medications for those besides my matinence medication topamax and then he upped my dose of topamax. Then He went on to my feet and how they flip out to the side and the lower extremity weakness I have.  He said this is indictive of a problem in my brain or spinal cord. He said I definately have a neurological disorder, but he just is not sure what it is yet. He ordered an MRI and is going to call me with the results and what testing he wants to do from there, He said it will probably either be a test that I can't remember the name of but where they basically shock your leg and see how long it takes for that shock to travel to your spinal cord and back to your leg, OR they might do a spinal tap OR both. He said it will all depend on the MRI which is scheduled tenatively for sometime during the next week to two weeks.

Just have to see how things go....
