Are you on birth control pills?

How long have you been on them?

How is your sleep? Do you wake up in the middle of the night? DO you weak up well rested?

Do you have any cravings?

How is your urine? (color, smell, is there any bubbles)

How is your stool? (constipated, diarrhea, undigested food, smell) Are you gassy?

More needs to be known.  if you are on BCP, it just could be old blood and break-through bleeding. Your doc an adjust your pills.

Foul odor is a warning sign--go see your doc if u have that, too.

"mucosy" in them middle of your cycle shouldn't sound off warning bells, but for ANY concern, it is always best to see your doc.

I to get this discharge right before my period.  It sometimes is a week before I actually start.  This has been going on for years now, and is quite annoying.  I did ask my gyn about this, and he didn't seem concerned.

I am not sure if you found an answer yet but I had the same problem before my gyn. said it was normal mine lasted for a week and was like a menstral cycle, but wasnt. I researched the internet before about it and it is completely normal. is there a possibility you could be pregnant? bc i read on a site about how when the egg is first fertilized you could realize this brownish vaginal discharge.

go to the nearest hospital abd have a checked up by the doctor,,it could be serious case..get well

Maybe you are spotting after your period that happened to me once. But if it happens a lot of time get it checked out by a doctor. GOOD LUCK
